Its clean look and easy access make this picnic table a winner for decades. Since the single center post is used for support, the underneath area is open for resting feet and pets. This picnic table is popular for park areas and outdoor athletic areas. It can also be used for permanent outdoor seating at home barbeques.
The Post Mount Angle Iron Rectangle Picnic Table is built from heavy gauge steel and has a single center in-ground mount for support. The table offers two models with a four foot or six foot bench seats. The four foot bench seat offers seating between 6 8 people while the six foot bench seat model offers seating between 8 10 people. The four foot models weigh between 238 – 268 pounds while the six foot model weighs 305 – 356 pounds. The table top and seats are constructed from perforated metal to allow water, rain, and snow to pass through. The entire metal table is covered with a thermoplastic coating. The Post Mount Angle Iron Rectangle Picnic Table is built from heavy gauge steel that is galvanized to protect it against rust and corrosion. Then the entire table is covered in a thermoplastic coating, also known as powder coating. This is the most technologically advanced method of protecting and coating metal available. It is a process whereby the dry powder and base metal are given opposite electrical charges so that the powder will firmly adhere to the metal. The metal is then heated and the powder will melt slightly and create an extremely strong bond with the metal. The powder coating can be applied in thicker coats without running or sagging. Generally the thickness is between 25 30 millimeters. The frame is usually given a black coating while the table top and benches can be any of sixteen different colors. The available colors are Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Bk-Green, Teal, Blue, Navy, Purple, Burgundy, Brown, Beige, Sandstone, Gray, and Granite.
